About the event
Fashion, film, and literature intertwine in Siran Riak’s inspiring career. Starting her modeling journey in Uganda and later walking the runways for world-renowned brands such as Bulgari, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton, Siran has made a name for herself in the global fashion industry. Her transition into film saw her play ‘Julia’ in the critically acclaimed, Oscar-nominated film Goodbye Julia, a role that further established her as a multifaceted artist. In 2024, she ventured into writing, publishing her first book on fashion, where she details her journey, insights, and expertise in the industry.
Participants will gain firsthand knowledge about breaking into the fashion industry, navigating international platforms, and the creative process behind her book. Through her experiences, Siran will also shed light on the intersection of fashion, film, and storytelling.
