Are you passionate about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)? Do you want to help create a space where your community can explore and discuss the future of technology?
Scenius Hub is launching a series of AI & Machine Learning-focused community meetups, and we’re looking for volunteers to help make it happen! This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of emerging tech conversations in South Sudan, shaping how communities understand and engage with cutting-edge technology.
Role: Volunteer Community Meetups Organizer
Duration: Part-time (6 months)
Location: Hybrid – remote with occasional in-person coordination (Juba-based applicants preferred)
What You’ll Do:
Support the planning and coordination of weekly/bi-weekly AI/ML-themed community meetups.
Help identify speakers, topics, and collaborators in the tech space.
Communicate with speakers and the general public.
Assist with logistics, outreach, and event promotion.
Create engaging content for event announcements and post-event highlights.
Collect feedback and help document outcomes for continuous improvement.
We’re Looking For:
An active Scenius Hub community member.
A genuine interest in AI, Machine Learning, or emerging technologies.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Experience with digital tools and social media is a plus.
A collaborative mindset and a passion for community engagement.
What You’ll Gain:
