Call for Applications: Volunteer with Scenius Hub – AI & Machine Learning Community Meetups Organizer (Part-Time, 6 Months).

Are you passionate about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)? Do you want to help create a space where your community can explore and discuss the future of technology?


Scenius Hub is launching a series of AI & Machine Learning-focused community meetups, and we’re looking for volunteers to help make it happen! This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of emerging tech conversations in South Sudan, shaping how communities understand and engage with cutting-edge technology.


Role: Volunteer Community Meetups Organizer

Duration: Part-time (6 months)

Location: Hybrid – remote with occasional in-person coordination (Juba-based applicants preferred)


What You’ll Do:

  • Support the planning and coordination of weekly/bi-weekly AI/ML-themed community meetups.

  • Help identify speakers, topics, and collaborators in the tech space.

  • Communicate with speakers and the general public.

  • Assist with logistics, outreach, and event promotion.

  • Create engaging content for event announcements and post-event highlights.

  • Collect feedback and help document outcomes for continuous improvement.


We’re Looking For:

  • An active Scenius Hub community member.

  • A genuine interest in AI, Machine Learning, or emerging technologies.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Experience with digital tools and social media is a plus.

  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for community engagement.


What You’ll Gain:
